                 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE 
                 CLERK OF THE COUNCIL TO ADVERTISE FOR PUBLIC 
                 HEARING ON MAY 16, 1995, THE ANNEXATION OF AN 
                 AREA ADJACENT TO CUMMINGS HIGHWAY IN HAMILTON 
                 COUNTY, TENNESSEE, CONTIGUOUS TO THE CITY 
                 LIMITS, THE PROPERTY OWNERS OF WHICH AREA, 
                 RICHARD ROSSELL AND MARTHA ROSSELL, HAVE 
                 PETITIONED THE CITY OF CHATTANOOGA TO BE 
                 ANNEXED.

       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Clerk of the Council is hereby 
       authorized to advertise for public hearing on May 16, 1995, the 
       annexation of a tract of property, the owners of which have 
       petitioned for annexation, adjacent to Cummings Highway in 
       Hamilton County, Tennessee, which tract is contiguous to the City 
       and which tract is more fully described as follows:
            The area to be annexed consists of Parcel 20, Hunnicutt 
            Tax Map No. 143.
